Tour sponsored by the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau
Join us for this family-friendly day, where Dayton history comes to life! We will meet in the parking lot of Carillon Historical Park (1000 Carillon Boulevard, Dayton 45409) at 8:00 AM where we will load our bus to visit sites and hear stories about our amazing city. Stops will include the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park Wright Dunbar Interpretive Center, The Dayton Art Institute, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, and beautiful Carillon Historical Park, where history comes alive. Stories will include those about the famous Dayton brothers, NCR, the Dayton flood and the Presidents that stood on the steps of the old Montgomery County Courthouse. Some trivia questions will test your knowledge about our hometown. A box lunch from Dorothy Lane Market, snacks and drinks will be provided. The day will end about 2:30 PM (but guests can stay longer at Carillon Park, if they desire.)
