Saturday, September 19, 2015: Country Living Fair & A “WOW” store in The Short North in Columbus ($67)
If you love the magazine, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE the Country Living Fair!! Held at the beautiful Ohio Village, the Fair includes vendors, antiques, crafts, cooking and decorating demonstrations and food vendors (lunch on your own.) We will stay at the fair for four hours so you will have plenty of time. Then we will head to The Short North for more “ahh haa” shopping for one hour. Grandview Mercantile is a 6000 square foot antique marketplace showcasing 45 of central Ohio’s premier antique dealers. ReVue is a 12,000 square foot consignment store featuring fine quality antique, vintage and previously owned furniture and decorative accessories from over 750 consignors. It is the largest store of its kind in the Midwest. We will all gather for dinner (on your own due to the wide variety of menu options and prices) at MELT … gourmet grilled cheese, sandwiches and lots more. Relax on the deluxe motorcoach – we will provide the driving, parking, entrance ticket to the fair a BOTGT gift for all guests!

We will visit five clothing consignment shops and three home décor shops around Cincinnati via deluxe motorcoach with a lunch stop, snacks and a 15% or 20% discount at each of the stores. You will find “Cincinnati’s finest” fashions, accessories, jewelry, home décor and trinkets for a fraction of the price! Lunch at McAllister’s Deli – yummo! Join us on this day filled with holiday spirit! We will travel to The Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY. Be prepared to experience history in a completely unprecedented way in this state-of-the-art museum that brings the Bible to life. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the 160 exhibits and to have lunch at your leisure in Noah’s Cafe. In the afternoon, we will have enjoy a live performance by the Southern Gateway Chorus – an a cappella group that will create “joyful noise.” This performance is not open to the public. And then, what are the holidays without a traditional holiday dinner – turkey, mashed potatoes, and all the trimmings. Yummo! And then, we will have a quick opportunity to experience a million lights on the grounds – be ready to be inspired as we end the day.
