Held at the beautiful Ohio Village, the Fair includes vendors, cooking and decoration demonstrations (with some famous pros), great food (lunch on your own), shopping and more! We will stay at the Fair for five hours so you can see and do it all. Then dinner (included in the price) will be at the famous “Schmidt’s Germany Haus” and a little time to peek around the Germany Village. Don’t you deserve a little weekend getaway? We will be headed to the River for the Centennial Festival of Riverboats in Louisville on Saturday, October 18-Sunday, October 19, 2014. This is a once-in-a-century event! The Belle of Louisville turns 100 and a fleet of steamboats and riverboats will be there for the party! We have a dinner cruise booked that will impress you – dinner, a full stage show and fireworks all on the General Jackson. This is the steamboat normally based in Nashville and owned by the Grand Ole Opry family! This tour includes the transportation, overnight at the historical and beautiful Galt Hotel with a full buffet breakfast included, The Riverboat dinner cruise, time to enjoy the festival and parade of boats, an “inside the gates” tour of Churchhill Downs (home of the Kentucky Derby) and entrance to the Kentucky Derby Museum and a few other Louisville attractions, too!
